LIGHT CONE Residencies - Call for Projects / 2nd Session of 2016
Light Cone (Paris, France) has just announced a call for projects for the second session of 2016 of the Atelier 105 video post-production residencies addressed to experimental filmmakers.
The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2016 and the selected projects will be announced on July 15, 2016.
Application details and submission form are available at:
Light Cone initiated in January 2015 artist residencies dedicated to video post-production, only for films that fall within the field of experimental cinema, with the objective of supporting 10 to 15 projects per year.
A fully equipped workspace located in Light Cone's facilities gives artists access to an editing station, sound mixing software, a color-correction monitor, as well as dedicated computers for encoding video files and DCPs. This equipment has been chosen by professionals to allow filmmakers to have the best possible tools at their disposal.
In order to keep the residency open to the working methods of experimental filmmakers, it is offered for short, medium, or feature-length projects of which shooting is either completed or still in progress, and it is available for films with or without the backing of an independent production company. While the project must fall within the field of experimental cinema, no other criteria (length, nationality of filmmaker, etc.) will be imposed.
